Is it really free to list my profile?

Yes, completely. Your profile, your searchability, and receiving direct connection requests from participants are always free. We offer optional paid tools for providers who want practice management features, but being listed and found costs nothing, ever.

Do I need to be NDIS registered?

Both NDIS registered and unregistered providers are welcome. Your registration status is shown clearly on your profile so participants can make informed choices. Unregistered providers working with self-managed or plan-managed participants are fully eligible to list.

How is this different from the NDIA Provider Finder?

The NDIA Provider Finder is a basic search with no reviews, no direct messaging, and no way for participants to connect inside the platform. Caredex adds verified profiles, participant ratings, direct connection requests, compliant messaging, service agreements, and a mobile app — all in one place.

Is Caredex live right now?

Not yet — we are in pre-launch, accepting early provider listings now ahead of our Melbourne launch in July 2026. Caredex was founded by an NDIS sector professional with over 12 years of experience, who is also a personal carer for a family member with a disability. Having experienced firsthand how difficult it is for participants and families to find the right provider — and how invisible excellent sole trader providers are — Caredex was built to solve both problems at once. Caredex is an Australian-registered business (ABN 66 682 927 359) based in Melbourne, Victoria.

All data is hosted on AWS Sydney (ap-southeast-2) and never leaves Australia. We comply fully with the Australian Privacy Act and NDIS data requirements. Our full privacy policy is available on request.

When will my city go live?
